Central Office Committee
Chair: Heidi H. - (509) 539-5730
Purpose: Central Office is established to service the individual member groups in carrying out those functions which are common to all AA groups but which may be best handled by a central office. It exists to aid the groups in their common purpose of carrying the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers. These functions are described in some detail in the General Service Office (GSO) publication, "A.A. Guidelines - Central or Intergroup Offices".
Each home group is also asked to send a representative to the committee meetings. The responsibility and maintenance of the service office rests with the groups and therefore representation is vital to the successful communication and ongoing two way flow between the Central Office and groups.
Current volunteer needs: This committee is currently in need of alternate positions for Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Office Manager.
